Watch Where You're Walking Fella
As we approach the first day of Summer, we start getting reminders that we need to start paying a bit more attention to where we walk. For example, the picture below shows an area we walk on a daily basis to go do chores for the poultry. The brooder room is this way and the turkey room is beyond that. The turkeys (once they get big enough) are let out every morning and locked up every evening. Of course, any chicks in the brooder need food and water and we check on them semi-frequently.

You know you have moved through the season into Summer and then Fall. Yes, that's usually how it works around here. It may not always feel like it to you, but I have it on good authority that this is the established order of things.
Anyway....
You know it is moving to Summer when you hear something along the lines of....
Tromp tromp tromp tromp.. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaauuuuuuuuuuuugh!
at our farm.

There is just nothing quite like walking to go do your chores with your mind on other things and then running into a spider web with your face.
'Nuff said.
