At the 2015 Practical Farmers of Iowa conference back in January, I was honored to be asked by Melissa Dunham of Grinnell Hertitage Farm to participate in a presentation she was leading on farm financials. I'll simply state that it wasn't an easy presentation for Melissa, but she did an outstanding job illustrating the complexities and difficulties in trying to run a profitable farm business.
